Abby has wanted a pet for awhile, so when she got some money for her birthday she wanted to use it to buy one. While she was hoping to get a kitten, she settled for a fish. (Tim is not an animal lover) She named it Goldie. I'm sure it's the only gold fish with that name....ha. Anyway, she is very proud of it and makes sure she feeds it every morning before school. We've already warned her that fish don't usually have a very long life expectancy!! But she is very happy to have a pet now!!
